Terms of sale and use

These terms cover buying and using the digital guides sold on wwwdiscoveries.com. Buying a guide means you accept them.

What you are buying

A single digital file, in PDF format, delivered by a download link after payment. Nothing physical is shipped. Page counts, file sizes and contents are listed on each guide's page and are accurate at the time of sale.

What you may do with it

You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read the guide, print it for your own use, and keep your own copies. That licence does not expire.

What you may not do with it

• Resell, sublicense, rent or redistribute the file.
• Publish it, upload it to a file-sharing service, or post its contents in full anywhere public.
• Use it to train a machine learning model, or include it in a dataset assembled for that purpose.
• Remove or alter any attribution or copyright notice in it.

Quoting a short passage with attribution is fine, and always will be.

Delivery

Download links are emailed on payment and also shown on the page you land on after checkout. Links are valid for 72 hours and up to five downloads. If a link stops working before you have the file, reply to your receipt email and we will send a new one.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Prices are in US dollars.

What the guides are, and are not

The guides are general information, researched and referenced. They are not professional advice — not medical, legal, financial, or therapeutic — and no relationship of that kind is created by buying one. Decisions about your own circumstances are yours, and for anything serious you should talk to a professional who knows them.

Liability

The guides are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim connected to a guide is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes

These terms may change. The version in force for your purchase is the one published on the day you bought, and the date above says when this version was last updated.
